Ring announcer: Vince Riviera Referees: Mike Luckey and Nathan Wolfe Owner/Director: The Boss Lady JC Preshow: Tyler Grayson vs. Sinborn vs. “Flamin’ Hot” Seth Coleman Rt33W LIVE started the evening with a pre-show triple threat match. Seth Coleman lived up to his “flying high” moniker by nailing Sinborn with a top rope hurricanrana and massive frog splash. Rt33W newcomer Tyler Grayson had fans on the edge of their seats as he executed a flawless 450 splash on Coleman. However, it was Sinborn who took the win with a vicious inverted swinging neckbreaker delivered to Grayson. 1) Aaron Graves vs. “The Henshin Hero” Kamen MK Aaron Graves and Kamen MK made their respective returns to Rt33W LIVE last Saturday. Graves spent a large portion of this bout attacking “The Henshin Hero” in the corners and attempting to rip off his mask, but in the end, Kamen was victorious, rolling Graves into a pin after a failed spear attempt. Graves was unhappy with his loss, and began to argue with Referee Mike Luckey. A shoving match ensued, with Graves putting his hands on Luckey, and Luckey consequently knocking Graves to his back and out of the ring. 2) “The Mighty Turtle” Tortuga Fuerte vs. “The Snack That Smiles Back” Gorgeous Mantooth As Fuerte celebrated being sponsored by an anonymous supporter, Mantooth brutally attacked him before the bell with a stiff clothesline, stomps and strikes, and his signature Gorgeous Drop. Mantooth then attempted to exit the arena, but was stopped by the Boss Lady, who insisted he wrestle a full, official match, per his contract. 3) “The Snack That Smiles Back” Gorgeous Mantooth vs. John D Crazy Hillbilly John D Crazy Hillbilly appeared, ready to take on Mantooth in Fuerte’s place. The two tangled, with the hillbilly showcasing his striking and grappling abilities as Mantooth relied largely on his usual tactics of stomps and corner attacks. John D locked in a cobra clutch on Mantooth, taking the fight into the corner and trapping Referee Nathan Wolfe. Mantooth took the opportunity to mule kick John D in the groin and attack him with the hillbilly’s own cowbell, which had been hanging from the ring post. Mantooth then grabbed the official and made him count the pinfall, securing the win. 4) “Mr. 5-Star” Gary Gandy vs. “The Mór of Irish Strong Style” Riley Rose Gary Gandy and Riley Rose are no strangers to each other. In fact, Gandy helped train Rose during his early pro wrestling days. That said, there is no love lost between these two. Both men pulled out all the stops in this bout, with “Mr. 5-Star” executing a big buckle bomb, sharp spinal tap, and rough rider, and “The Mór of Irish Strong Style” hitting a senton off the apron, top rope swanton bomb, and impeccable Spanish fly. The fight spilled out of the ring, with both wrestlers battering each other with strikes, kicks, and slams. Referee Mike Luckey was forced to disqualify both Gandy and Rose after they failed to re-enter the ring before the ten-count. 5) Creature Feature vs. The Grimy Scots The 2022 Tag Team Tournament continued with its semi-finals as The Grimy Scots took on Creature Feature in tag team action. As Grizzly Duncan McBain attempted to pin Beefcake, Snakebite pulled Referee Mike Luckey under the ropes and whipped him into the ring post, momentarily stunning him. Creature Feature attacked The Grimy Scots completely unabated. Dragonheart Jim Finley ran to the Scots’ aid, sending Snakebite out of the ring and pummeling Beefcake with a series of stiff forearms. However, as Beefcake staggered to the side, Dragonheart mistakenly struck Griz. A brawl broke out between both teams and Dragonheart, forcing the official, the Mountain King, and security to step in. When unsuccessful at containing the scuffle, a large portion of the Rt33W locker room came to assist. Both teams were disqualified for the brawl. Once all parties were separated, the Boss Lady addressed the arena: As an official tag team tournament match, someone had to advance to the finals in September. After a brief discussion with the Mountain King, the Boss Lady announced that Dragonmeister would face both Creature Feature and the Grimy Scots on September 3rd in a three-way tag team tournament final for the Rt33W Tag Team Championship. 6) Curtis Ray Goddi vs. “The King of King’s Road” AJ Alexander (c) - Streetfight Curtis Ray Goddi cashed in his Mountain Pass medal to take on his brother and the current champion, AJ Alexander, in a street fight for the Rt33W Open Weight Championship. Alexander’s entrance was cut short as CRG opened the match with a huge crossbody off the top rope to the outside. Both fighters demolished each other with chairs, trash cans, pool cues, and kendo sticks, with CRG managing to draw blood. Alexander nailed CRG with sharp kicks and strikes, as well as a massive top rope superplex, and antagonized Riley Rose, who had been watching the fight from a distance, by locking in Rose’s signature cloverleaf. CRG fired back with a running shooting star press, moonsault, and a destructive Canadian destroyer. He attempted to pin Alexander, but the referee mistakenly called for a rope break. Alexander ultimately gained the upper hand by hammering CRG with three skull-crushing kicks through a steel trash can and successfully covering him for the three-count. However, after the official called for the bell, Alexander picked up a wooden chair to continue his assault on CRG, at which point Rose made a mad dash for the ring, forcing “The King of King’s Road” to make a hasty retreat. Rose addressed the arena, stating it was time Spencer, WV had a champion they could respect. He then challenged Alexander to one more match: A 2 out of 3 falls match for the Rt33W Open Weight Championship on Saturday, September 3rd. WE ARE APPROACHING OUR FINAL EVENT OF 2022!
