Ring announcer: Vince Riviera Referees: Mike Luckey and Nathan Wolfe Owner/Director: The Boss Lady JC Upcoming live events: - Saturday, June 4th, 2022 - Saturday, July 9th, 2022 - Saturday, August 6th, 2022 1) Curtis Ray Goddi faced off against Kamen MK in an exhilarating singles bout. As CRG ducked a clothesline, Gary Gandy appeared ringside and jumped to the apron. This was just enough of a distraction for Kamen to roll CRG into a crucifix armbar, to which he submitted. Both CRG and Kamen MK were visibly frustrated by Gandy’s unexplained interference. 2) This four-way dance between El Cazador, “The Purple Parrot” Colin Sheen, Party Ghoul, and Tortuga Fuerte was nonstop chaos, with back-to-back pin attempts from all four competitors. Cazador and Sheen traded blows over an immobilized Tortuga Fuerte, who then swept the legs of both competitors. As he struggled to recover, Party Ghoul ferociously bit his foot. Fuerte countered with a massive kick to the face, and rolled backwards over the downed Cazador and Sheen for the three-count. In addition to the return of the Rebel Dead, Tortuga Fuerte is set to compete in the 2022 Tag Team Tournament alongside his partner, Julian Blaze, on Saturday, July 9th. 3) “The Mór of Irish Strong Style” Riley Rose made his Rt33W return to take on “The Notorious GMT” Gorgeous Morgan Taylor. Rose took to the skies with a shooting star press early in the match, followed later by a death-defying top rope senton. Taylor was equally merciless in this bout, nailing Rose with explosive uppercuts, his signature “Gorgeous Drop,” and two massive leg drops. Taylor also called out his rival, Jeremy Rodriguez, by attempting (and ultimately missing) a top rope Coqui Splash. In the end, however, it was Rose with a shattering Dublin Driver who picked up the win. 4) “Mr. By The Book” Gaston LaRue made his Rt33W wrestling debut against “Mr. 5-Star” Gary Gandy in a match set up by Gandy’s estranged wife, MMG, after she gained favor with “The Boss Lady” JC following a confrontation with her husband last month. Both men fought uncompromisingly the entire bout, but it was Gandy with a devastating curb stomp who emerged victorious. However, the fight would not end after the pinfall; Gandy retrieved LaRue’s “Ancient Book of Wrestling” and was primed to attack him with it. MMG snatched the would-be weapon from Gandy, and struck him in the face with it, allowing LaRue to recover and nail Gandy with a sharp running single knee. 5) Aaron Graves and John D Crazy Hillbilly clashed for a third time in a “Holler Hogtie” stipulation match chosen by Rt33W’s fans. Joined at the wrists by a bull rope, both men battered each other from pillar to post. After Graves hit his signature Sliced Bread, he attempted to retrieve a chair from beneath the ring, where he was bit by John D’s pet, Leroy the Possum, who had been missing the entire evening. An enraged Graves reentered the ring and smashed the marsupial multiple times with his chair before unceremoniously tossing him out of the ring. This clearly did not sit well with the crazy hillbilly, who then battered him with innumerable heavy right hands. In the end, John D planted Graves with a colossal piledriver onto a steel chair and picked up the win via pinfall. John D Crazy Hillbilly is also scheduled to compete in the continuation of the tag team tournament in June with his partner, “Lover Boy” Terrence Morelli. 6) Saturday’s main event saw Big Starkz Brand representative “The Babushka Baron” Jeffrey John face current Rt33W Open Weight Champion “The King of King’s Road” AJ Alexander. While this was a championship contest, the repute of the Big Starkz Brand was front and center, after John called Alexander out for disrespecting Riley Rose in March. Alexander’s cold and calculating technical prowess was front and center in this bout, but “The Babushka Baron” was not to be underestimated, with John pulling out thrilling top rope maneuvers and matching Alexander’s aggression. After a failed pin attempt, Alexander retrieved his Open Weight Championship and attempted to use it as a weapon. Referee Mike stopped Alexander’s attempt to strike his opponent with the belt, and called The Boss Lady to the ring to return the belt to its place outside the ring. As the referee handed the belt to The Boss Lady, Alexander struck John in the groin and landed a destructive package piledriver for the win. Post-bell, Alexander once again attempted to remove the Big Starkz Brand band from his opponent, but was chased from the ring by Riley Rose. After calling out this repeated display of insolence, Jeffrey John announced that he and Riley Rose would fight AJ Alexander, two-on-one, on July 9th. Alexander was noticeably incensed by this match announcement as he exited the arena. Up next at the Armory: Rt33W LIVE on Saturday, June 4th, 2022! Tickets available HERE! |
